<p>i'm actually still around.</p>
<p>i usually do a coarse linear pot (10 oct), a fine linear pot, and
a 10 turn super fine. That's on my modulars. i like to be able to
create long sweeps manually.<br>

<p>when i modifry beat up old synths i'll often just add a super
fine.</p>

<p>i used to be able to get the 10 turn pots (not trimmers) fairly
cheaply at a surplus store. unfortunately they are gone now.<br>
