<div>Thanks for doing this Don. It brings back great memories. I built a Psych Tone when I was a kid. The experience taught me a lot a lot about electronics and also about perseverance. At first, o<span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">f course, </span></span>it did not work so I spent a difficult 2 weeks learning all about the circuit and then troubleshooting everything until I got it to function. What a great feeling I had when I heard the first pseudo-random sequence. I remember tinkering with it for hours changing all of its parameters and marveling at the endless possibilities. Believe or not the Psych Tone set the stage for me to become an Electrical Engineer and have a lifelong fascination with electronic music.
