But even "modern" versions of those old 1 MIPS micros can handle the processing overhead pretty quickly, aside from the UART byte delay.<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Yamaha does that, or at least they did for the PortaStudio line.  I'm pretty sure I've seen it on others as well, but that's the one that first bit me with this behavior when I was very naive about the standard and didn't understand running mode either. :)</div></div></div></div>
