If you can't get in at least three or four diode drops between the power<br>
rails, it really limits the kind of analog circuitry you can build -<br>
though it's true that having basically no passives and no bipolar<br>
transistors, only MOS transistors designed for digital use, is a much<br>
bigger issue.  Low voltage is more a consequence than a cause of the fact<br>
this process is unsuitable for analog.<br>
