Quincas et al, I found a pcb layout for a NAB amplifier. That is the part I am most happy with. Next round will be with an erase head I suppose if it is mono.<br />

There are examples from these live performances. 38-Barbies is our name so the tape loop is “38-Barbies” and “You know, I don’t know”. Generally at the beginning and end of performances.<br />

If you want just one thing on the tape, I suggest record it mono/full<br />

track, but then use one channel of a quarter track head (or even an<br />

old 8-track cartridge head) for playback. This will give more leeway<br />

on the azimuth angle to get full treble frequency response, so it<br />

doesn't have to be so critically close to 90 degrees.<br />

The magnetophon demo is interesting, not just the actual product demo,<br />

but also he's wearing an "Atlanta Synth Meat" shirt! I was at the<br />

event last year. We have another even coming up in Atlanta in about a<br />

the awesome poster for the event.<br />
