<div dir="ltr"><div>I know many potential synth users that just can't grasp MIDI and do not know how to set up connections reliably. Despite it's faults, MIDI has been hugely successful and it is cheap and relatively simple to implement. I<br>
like that I can hook up my early 80s JX3P to the latest MIDI gear and it will just work (all notes off aside).<br>
I can't say the same for most computer equipment of that vintage.<br>
