Bigger news than the SS2144 from the SDIY pov I think will be the SSI2164, which is an SSM2164 with improvements by the original designer.<br>
That includes a fix for the missing power rail dead chip problem.<br>
Fabbed by Diodes Incorporated in China.<br>
They’ve had samples they’re happy with, and are going to production soon.<br>
Pricing for the 2164 will be similar to the 2144.<br>
