Luckily I had access to Altium’s educational pricing, otherwise I don’t think i’d go with circuit studio due to the fact that there’s no offline mode. I’m finding Altium's eagle importer to be very useful to bring in anything from full boards to custom components and footprints that I’d made in eagle. That definitely seems to be easing the transition. We have a bunch of little other mill PCB milling machines at school that are a dream if you’re using eagle (literally drag and drop brd files and hit the cut button). Altium plays nicer than eagle does with our fancy LPKF mill though.
