Dunno whether the HP 54624A could be worth a look - I picked one up
quite recently though my current life hasn't allowed me to use it much
so far.
4 channel and fairly compact for an oldish scope.
Everything I read made me think it sounded great and it has been nice in
I've the cousin of the 54624A - the DSO version which is the 54645D - 2 analogue, 16 digital channels and have been very happy with it. It was cheaper second hand, with a current calibration than most of the entry level Rigols and the like.

There is one minor nit - the more recent offerings (Rigol, Owon, etc.) do seem to have more sophisticated protocol analysis features (ie they can decode an async serial connection for example) - the older Agilent's like mine don't have quite the same sophistication for this kind of thing.

Hope that helps,
Cheers,
