<p dir="ltr">I've been considering several custom board on tindie for a project I have, looks like a very cool place to sell useful designs you've made and get your feet wet in the business. For ks to be successful any sort of track record helps. Also a crystal clear idea of the final product as well as a 100% fully working prototype tested by several others can go a long way. </p>
<p dir="ltr">That new teensy looks killer. I wouldn't be surprised if teensy doesn't become a very cheap dsp test bed for a new generation of dsp tinkerers that want to code more than connect pre made blocks (axoloti). It appears they are roughly on par performance wise but teensy doesn't have the chibios going. </p>

Second, I don't post enough here to have a vote but I enjoy<br>
reading many topics on the list. I prefer an email server to<br>
anything like Slack or Facebook. Yahoo and Google are not<br>
quite as bad but I sympathize with concerns about privacy.<br>
I administer several different forums and each has its own<br>
personality and thrives using different solutions. My groups<br>
on Facebook seem to be mostly one-way, i.e. a few posting and<br>
a lot of people consuming. Most of the posts involve images<br>
or links to articles, with maybe a little discussion. Finding<br>
anything requires scrolling FOREVER! Most of the posts here<br>
generate a lot of discussion and the archives are invaluable.<br>
I think mailing lists work best for that.<br>

I am doing a lot of DIY these days but most of my work is<br>
related to Internet of Things (IoT). I still use a lot of<br>
the same parts (passives, connectors, digital), I try to<br>
keep a good variety of stuff on hand to share at maker-type<br>
events. I would be happy to share what I have at cost or<br>
barter, or participate in any group buys.<br>

As I recall the developers of an FM synthesizer shield for<br>
Arduino advertised their KickStarter campaign here. I made<br>
a modest contribution and I'm happy to say I have received<br>
my shield and both it and the software look great! I would<br>
be interested in getting advice from anyone experienced<br>
with KickStarter and similar startup funding mechanisms as<br>
I have a few projects in mind.<br>
