<div dir="ltr">yes, certainly i could find one that is close and hack on it, but since my need isn't urgent, i'll likely hold out for something that's close. i'm trying to dig a part number out of Flights and Intellijel, but nothing yet.<div><br></div><div>this is the closest i've found</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/Joystick-potentiometers-2x-100k-ohms-X-Y-Axis-/151947357956?hash=item2360c4af04:g:iHwAAOSwKtlWlINC">http://www.ebay.com/itm/Joystick-potentiometers-2x-100k-ohms-X-Y-Axis-/151947357956?hash=item2360c4af04:g:iHwAAOSwKtlWlINC</a><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Mon, Apr 4, 2016 at 2:16 PM, <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:sleepy_dog@gmx.de" target="_blank">sleepy_dog@gmx.de</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">

Maybe that is too involved / fumbly if you're looking for a ready
solution (OTOH, you said small number...),<br>
but:<br>
Maybe some of those cheapies can be opened and the springs
removed?<br>
And if the lever is not light enough for the potentiometers to
hold it in place, one could add friction, e.g. by making a disc
out of felt or similar, putting a hole in it slightly less in
diameter than the potentiometer axis, put it around the axis and
glue it to the case? If it's that accessible...<br>

<div>i did look at adafruit and sparkfun and didn't find
anything appropriate. one constraint is that they can't be
spring-loaded - that is, once set in a position, they have to
stay there. also have to be panel mount and reasonably small

<div>i'd like to source a small number (< 10)
