I use a flux pen. <br>
<br>
Helps the small surface area rid itself of oxides and for the solder to bind.<br>
<br>
I add solder to each pad first, place component into position, then heat each pad to melt solder under the pad and fuse component to board.
<br>
<br>
Trick is to find a method to hold the component steady in place!<br>
<br>
