"bananaized MOTM" modules for sale... - Aaron </blockquote></div> I switched from Switchcraft & offshore 1/4" jacks to banana jacks, in the earlier 1990's for the purpose of colour coding most of my connections in the machines that I was building.

As well as banana jacks and plugs having an easier insertion / removal feel to them, I found relations between things - far easier as well as quicker to make. I'm taking the idea a couple of steps further this time, since started building again in July for the first time in 8 years:  every knob that is related to a certain parameter: Audio In, Out; CV In, Out; Logic In, Out and Clock will have the same colour as the jack that it's related to.

<br>Also - cabling.  I've been able to source enough colours of silicon test lead from Belden, to relate to the colour areas, in which it's used.  :)  Once I colour all of my cork knobs for their proper relations in my system, identifying a patch's makeup, will become almost instantaneous upon inspection. :)
