<DIV> Hi to All</DIV>
<DIV> Wow, this has been a bad year for <SPAN class=correction id="">sdiy</SPAN>, another supplier gone.</DIV>
<DIV> Really I must say I think <SPAN class=correction id="">EFM</SPAN> went down about six months ago.</DIV>
<DIV> I only <SPAN class=correction id="">received</SPAN> one(1) module out of all that I ordered, I had to</DIV>
<DIV> modify it heavily to get it working.</DIV>
<DIV> If any are interested here is a link to a yahoo group that</DIV>
<DIV> maybe can take the place of the <SPAN class=correction id="">EFM</SPAN> forum. The <SPAN class=correction id="">EFM</SPAN> forum</DIV>
<DIV> due to the nice members was <SPAN class=correction id="">EFM</SPAN>'s only saving grace.</DIV>

<DIV> I bought a bunch of EFM boards when I was just starting out. Half of them worked right away, the other half didn't. Caused me a fair amount of frustration. That was back when my <SPAN class=correction id="">SDIY</SPAN> skills amounted to the ability to "paint by numbers" ( i.e.: no experimenting, no bread board, just stuff the <SPAN class=correction id="">pcb</SPAN>, wire it up, and power it up). <SPAN class=correction id="">Ocaisionally</SPAN> I revisit these non-working boards and I get one working. Why? Because my skills have improved. My ability to troubleshoot has improved. In fact, EFM <SPAN class=correction id="">pcbs</SPAN> were the first that I ever traced out to make sure the connections were correct (helped my understanding quite a bit). First breadboard circuits were EFM filters. Some of the first "happy" mistakes I made were <SPAN class=correction id="">realised</SPAN> while building EFM modules and I continue to incorporate these "mistakes" in !
my own designs. </DIV>

<DIV> Tom, if your out there somewhere reading these posts... Thanks. You contributed a lot to the <SPAN class=correction id="">SDIY</SPAN> community and I'm really sorry to see EFM go away. Good luck on your new path.</DIV>
