impedance mismatch. The two cables and the terminations at the end of the cables

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm sorry, i know its off topic, but, the thing
is, i know someone here will know all the answers ; )</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Ive just acquired a new pc monitor, which is
somewhat larger than my original one. Trouble is, im getting ghosting
(on stationary items, like text and stuff)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It didnt have a cable hardwired to the back of
it, and the cable that was given to me with it looks very 'cheap' (a lot
thinner, and more flexible then any monitor cable on my other 'hardwired'
monitors)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Is this something that i can solve with an
upgraded cable, do you think? </FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I do have a kvm switch in there, but ive always
had it, and there was never an issue with my previous monitor.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Again, im sorry this is way off synthesizers - i
just have the utmost confidence in the knowledge pool here, i guess ;
)</FONT></DIV>
