<div>That's so sad. The first real schematics I ever saw were from PAIA. Reading their manuals was my first explanation of how a synthesizer worked, and the first synth I ever built / owned was a "brown face" Gnome. I managed to get the IC in backwards, got it out and back in the right way, learning how to solder along the way, and the thing actually worked! I spent countless hours fiddling with that thing, and I still have it today. I've been tempted to sell it on eBay, seeing the prices that they can fetch, but now I think I'm going to get it out of storage, spruce it up, and put it in a place of honor with all my other synths. We'll miss you, Mr. Simonton. You were probably responsible for putting more gear into people's hands than ARP and Moog combined. Thank you.
