I just build a pt2399 based delay. I works fine, is easy to build. The one i build is the Rebote 2 delay from <A href="http://www.tonepad.com">www.tonepad.com</A>, they have schematics and PCB lauout for download.</P>


<P>The dealy build from their schematics has about 300 - 400 ms delay. I modified it sligthly to have a much longer delayand infinite repeats, but i use it with circuit bend toys and noisy stuff. At low delay time settings it's quite nice at higher settings it starts to get a bit noisy. Also it kills quite a bit of the high frequencies. There's a newer design (2.5) available that has better high freq.</P>


<P>If you go for it, make sure to read the build reports before you start, lots of good info /  tips / mods.</P>

<DIV>Im thinking about building an echo/delay module for my synth using the pt2399 chip. Originally i bought it for building the PT80 delay from <A href="http://www.generalguitargadgets.com">www.generalguitargadgets.com</A>  to use it with my guitar (im mostly a guitar player). But now im thinking if the same project could be used in my modular. Has anyone tried this?? </DIV>
