sensing</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Hey all,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am interested in building something for an automatic-performance in an
art gallery (in the window of an art gallery to be specific) where the
audience on the outside will have some way to interact with the action on the
other side of the glass. I thought of two things I would like to pursue.
</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>1) Photocells</DIV>
<DIV>2) Touch point circuit completion a
la Crackle-Box (I imagine that conductive mylar could be good
for this).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I would love any information about how to build a circuit that could
switch things on and off with interaction in this way. I have some
experience with photocells, but not as switches. Some sort of comparator
maybe? Relays? I have no experience with relays. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Any help greatly appreciated.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Best,</DIV>
<DIV>Rafael</DIV>
