and, unlike the FatMan, uses fairly standard building blocks allowing it to be
readily interfaced to other conventional sound modules. The Hobbit is a single
board synth and is a rebuild of the SimpleSizer which (if only Tom G would
confirm/deny) is a copy of the MINI-4-CV.</DIV>

catch is you'll need to program the PIC chip, and the code isnt
exactly<BR>available. An old version Trevor Page wrote can still be found

TomCat is very<BR>simple. Since its a board only project it shouldnt even
be very expensive<BR>for you to purchase from Argentina since it was ship in a
large envelope and<BR>not a box so it probably wouldnt even get noticed by
customs, however TomG<BR>is currently on hiatus.<BR><BR>I really really think if
some good documentation was written up for the<BR>Tomcat ( PAIA-style
documentation ) and a kit put toegether, it would be an<BR>awesome beginners
