question

As the electronics newbee i am, i'm
trying to understand the 4066 datasheet.

Is it correct if i think that the voltage that can be switched on / off
with the 4 switches depends on the supply voltage to the 4066, and is almost
equal to it. So if i supply the 4066 from a 9 volt source (vdd) i can switch
up to 9.5 volts (if vss is 0).

So basically the voltage that can be applied to the 4 switches is the
supply voltage + " a small saftey margin".

Thanks
