<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi everybody, I used to do service work for
somebody who was selling EMS synthesizers in the 70's and as a result I
came into a bunch of boards from MkI and MkII VCS3 (I think there's 9 in all of
boards A-C) - all are untested as I don't have a VCS3 anymore.Also
have a few odds ands ends ,some of those memory ics from the AKS
etc.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I guess these will be useful for someone wanting to
build several VCS3's or for spare parts. Now it's with a heavy heart that I
part with these relics and wanted to get peoples opinions here as to
whether they are worth anything at all these days in 'virtual' synth
era.I'm semi-retired now, partly due to asthma condition from inhaling solder
fumes all these years (buy fume extractors guys !)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'll create a complete detailed list if
needed.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I also have the original schematics
and service manuals for several instruments EMS made, and these are a treasure
in themselves.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I had a look at JH's clone and it's wonderful, I
guess you could do the same with these and not have to do as much soldering
!</FONT></DIV>
