My Mirage has an intermittant problem with the keyboard. It seems I can reliably control the Mirage's own sound engine via the MIDI in and send out pitch bend and mod wheel info to other MIDI devices.

But the keyboard itself will flake out, no longer playing either the onboard sounds or anything connected via MIDI (nor will it make the LED display get all squirrelly as Mirage displays do when the keys are being played).

Rebooting (in either standard OS or Soundprocess) will temporarily solve the problem, but often within minutes, if not seconds the keys go dead again.

I've opened the Mirage up and reseated the keyboard-to-circuit board ribbon cable at both ends. This seemed to make things work a bit better, but problem soon reoccured (making me wonder if it was a "chance" improvement at best).

Just wondering if the keyboard or something on the circuit board could be wonky (and not the ribbon cable).
