<div>I don't go very much higher. Size usually dictates what I can do
anyways.</div>
<div>However, some caps are very small even with these better ratings,
but they're not always good at handling the same current or have other
considerations in terms of frequency.</div>
<div>You wouldn't want to put a smaller physically sized electrolytic
in, say, a TV's high voltage horiz amp.</div>
<div>I usually just put in a 50v if it was a 35v and that sort of
thing and usually only on linear supplies.</div>
<div>The higher you go, the more expensive they get, which is why many
units have marginally rated caps anyways. The instruments would have
cost too much to make.</div>
<div>Putting a higher rating in some power supplies is probably better
than putting in their originals. ;-)</div>
