Just picked up all the guts for this digital piano for $5. The
owner was a student who was given this piano because it was broken.
He decided the cabinet would make a great desk with built in
speakers! I got everything except the cabinet and
speakers.<br><br>
I thought I would just reuse the 88 note keyboard and design my own
scanning electronics. However, one of the two logic boards appears
to just be for keyboard scanning. The output is a single serial
line to the main electronics board. I'll have to scope it and see
if it might possibly be MIDI. I'm thinking that perhaps they just
merge the keyboard stream with the MIDI input stream. That would
make my project so much easier.<br><br>
Before I part it out, I thought I would try to see if I could get it
running. The menu and buttons work for about 10 seconds before
locking up. The 68000 processor appears to be in an indefinite
interrupt state based upon the IPL-0 pins. Here's a photo of the
'guts'.<br><br>

Anyone else have any ideas where I could get a set of
