It is a pretty obvious idea to use a percussion instrument, with a skin head<BR>
stretched over a hoop/cylinder, as the body of a banjo. Since that is what a<BR>
banjo is, fer crying out loud. My friend and I used a snare drum for the<BR>
body of the banjo purely out of convenience, as it was very similar to the<BR>
metal body found on some banjos.<BR>
