opinions on these versus the traditional leaf type contacts? Most of the chips
are flat sided pins so it would seem the leaf style provide more surface
contact. OTOH, I have had replace many of these type sockets over the years as
they loose their spring and then they definitely <span class=GramE>don’t</span>

never had to replace one of the milled, round holed sockets yet so they definitely
