I had a similar problem once with a Roland JX-8P, I couldn’t move it too much or bring it to play live because It would go bezerk. It had to stay in my studio nicely layed on its synth stand. I didn’t know how to fix the synth in these days and I brought it to a tech, it turned out the circuit board was very slightly cracked at one place (which wasn’t even visible to me) and every time the synth was moved, the contact would go out of wack. <BR>
