<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Greetings all,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> I have just become
interested in building Synths (after using them for a couple of years) and would
like some advice. I'm considering for my first project the synth described on
the "E-music DIY Schematics archive" extracted from the R.A. Penfold book.
This interests me because the individual modules seem simple
enough to build on their own. I have electronics experience, but it's
mostly been with kits so I don't want to build anything to extravagant for my
first project. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'd like some input as to whether or
not building this synth is a wise choice. Info like maybe the
circuits have serious design flaws (something my inexperience would allow
me to see?) Or maybe the synth just sounds like crap (nothing worse
spending a couple of days building something that's just going to sit
there...LoL. Anyhow any info would be greatly
appreciated. 'course, I haven't even checked availability of
components yet...that could be a problem all in itself. Or maybe I'm just too
pessimistic? </FONT> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> Sincerely,</FONT></DIV>
