<BR>I just want to thank everyone who helped me with my CR-8000 congas and the 

<BR>info for the 4558.  it turns out that the voice circuit was fine, it was just 

<BR>something not well connected that kept the sound from the main output.  I 

<BR>still don't know exactly where it was, but I spent alot of solder attaching 

<BR>the audio probe to different parts in the signal path,  so maybe that helped 

<BR>something.  the sound is still a bit softer than the other drums, but it's 

<BR>there.
