<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I own a Moog Prodigy. I got it for
$150 at a used instrument shop. Soon after I bought it it crapped
out. It may need a cleaning, but I think it may be more than
that. I was going to ship it to Fred Mcniff, but since I've taken an
interest in diy I see no reason why I can't attempt to fix it myself or make
something out of what does work or do some mods etc. I'm soon to be
building an ASM-1. Do you think that I could use it as a
controller? I haven't found any keyboards crappy enough for me to justify
tearing them apart. Any suggestions? The ASM-1 is my first
project. Some say thats ballsy, thats why I've signed up on these
mailing lists (AH and synth-diy) for guidance. I'm still waiting on my
o'scope (cheap heathkit) and digital multimeter (pocket size) to come in before
I do any work. Some of my parts from mouser are on back order any
way. I'd love any tips or mod ideas. the wilder the better.
I'll let you all know what works on the Prodigy after I figure out how to test
it. I'm a newbie. I do know how to assemble a board though.
