[sdiy] CoolAudio?

There was a discussion about this on Modwiggler some time ago. At that point, everyone agreed that it was impossible to raise anyone or get any sort of response, even when threatening to pay them money. I've asked around and found no-one who's managed get anything out of them. The website is still there (coolaudio.com <http://coolaudio.com/> works for me) but if it's just a lot of dead links and email addresses no-one answers, there isn't much point it being online.
Coolaudio ICs often aren't the greatest, but I'd still rather have the option than not. Xvive don't make the '3207 BBD, for example, only the 3007. V3207 was one of the only ways to get that particular chip in modern production.
