Probably also worth noting that I'm still on KiCad 6, having been
burned too many times from KiCad 4->5->6 upgrades trashing my
libraries, and the last attempt I made at upgrading to 7 was less
successful than that.  For all I know the latest (10 is it?) is far
better at all these things.
