I’m 67 with bad eyesight and not so steady hands, but I guess it’s time for me to learn how to do SMD. Any advice for how to get started?

But you'll need a SMD to DIP adapter. None of the modern opamps are available in DIP

Are there drop-in replacements?

LCSC is reliable source of the DIP version.
But do you REALLY need this op-amp ? It's expensive for what it is with lots of alternatives nowadays.

Sorry if this is not on topic, but I need the DIP version of this chip, but apparently there are a lot of counterfeits floating around, even on Amazon. Does anyone have a reliable source for the DIP version of this opamp?
TIA
