[sdiy] Linear response VCOs?

I've been playing around for years with the linear oscillators from the
Moog Taurus pedals , like you , I love that chorusing sound they give .
I shoe-horned the octave switching circuit from the ETI 4600 onto the front
to give more range and coupled 2 or 3 of them to a Korg MS style linear to
'log' converter .
... something akin to the early 901 oscillators that Emerson would have
used .
Aaaah , bliss ....
