Look how much space you get on this thing. It's like at least 6U worth
of space if you lay things down horizontally. You're multiplying those
two U's by 3.

It sounds like the racks you're talking about don't have eurorack as
their primary focus and it would just be an extra, so being able to
slide stuff out of the way sounds like it would work. And making it
face up would make it easier for people to use it if those 2U's are
close to the ground, because with how cramped eurorack is, you really
need to put your face in it to see anything.
