Thanks for mentioning Menda! Their catalog (
https://menda.descoindustries.com/) is really impressive. I've also had the
same problems as Jean-Pierre with cheap pump bottles (poor seal, deformed
neck/threading, tube split or cut poorly, pump broken on arrival), and
they're one of those things that are so cheap I've never considered how
much better a name brand would be. Kind of easy to forget these are a tool.
Spending $25+ (4-5x more) for a better tool is not too expensive for the
quality of life improvement from getting rid of those annoyances.
Good useful thread. As usual, Roman has the most practical advice. There
are still plenty of reused jam jars full of mysterious liquids here. :)
