It looks like when you have a wide viewing angle (120-140deg) on a specific
LED
This cannot come with strong mcd value (500mcd or more).
This is normal..
But I'd like to know if anybody found and came to use such a wide viewing
angle LED
But with a high mcd value.. ?
In the past I used the following red Led part value HLMP-EG1A-Z10DD
to replace 6v incandescent pilot light bulbs in vintage audio amplifiers.
It's a very strong led (21000 mcd) but because it's viewing angle is small
(15 deg)
The red beam only hit the middle of the front panel plastic lens..
I know 21000mcd is way too strong for my needs but the light intensity is
very nice.
I surely asked ChatGPT for any help on that but
it only came with a part number that is sold in 100pckt on AliExpress.
So.. Strong T-1 3/4 (5 mm) RED Led with wide viewing angle..??
