[sdiy] Source for nicely cut polycarbonate?

I would go for acrylic rather than polycarbonate.

Acrylic can be cut on a laser cutter quite inexpensively, whereas polycarbonate has to be CNC milled or routed to get round corners. 

I’ve made quite a few acrylic cases on the laser cutter in my local Maker Space. I made the mistake of trying to laser cut polycarbonate once, it was a mess. I believe places like Ponoko in the US can laser cut acrylic to order. A web search will help for other locations.
