[sdiy] Fet to short pedal input?

This might work, although a bit of chematics or at least which synth you 
talk about would help.

If it's switch input, that's super easy, just use FET directly. If it's 
analog input, like expression pedal, you might want to experiment a bit 
on required scale. FET will work as resistor only with small UDS voltage 
and beyond that it's more of a current source. Which is not bad if the 
expression input only expects voltage from pedal's potentiometer. But if 
it's simply using pedal's resistance in glide RC circuit, you will have 
more of linear portamento most of the time.
