[sdiy] voltage controlled amplifier

hello i just join you group and would like sum help please i have just started working on oscillators tone generators and other bits i hope to one day make a synthesiser of sum sort . But i am still learning the basics what i would like help with is making a voltage controlled amplifier sum thing simples as it can be as i need it to go with the envelope generator i have made i hope sum one can help please i would be a very big help
