And Ingo, in my day-job as a hospital emergency doctor, we do use the word "scope" as a verb, usually when addressing our gastroenterology colleagues ("You need to scope this guy, stat!!!! He's bleeding all over the floor" etc etc )

Anyhoo, I'll be sharing Steve's multi tool with my colleagues... looks like it should be incredibly versatile...
