This was something I designed in 1980 for my senior project to get my BS
in electrical engineering. I probably won't change the design other than
adding a PLL to create a master clock at the desired frequency. I was
thinking about making a PCB and wanted to know if anyone was interested.
My areas of interest are Massively-Parallel Processors (MPP) and defense
(military). I won't be going into the synthesizer business or creating
sound with an MPP, although the latter is an interest idea.

The only constraint at the time was "student is penniless so the design
is limited to samples and parts he can pilfer from employer inventory."

I wanted to avoid frequencies so high as to necessitate using ECL. The
design document I mentioned details how I solved that problem. You will
find that here: http://www.xavax.com/alvitar/DWG_Design.pdf
Thanks for your input.
