I use a "Knipex 12 42 195" which is basically the same like yours. It
works nicely with single stranded wires, but has trouble with shielded
cables like in patchfield cabling or in multicores. For shielded cables

And in regards of your eyesight: I use a "Rona magnifier headset" like
this
