[sdiy] CNC for synth DIY?

I have never seen a DIY kit or Aliexpress model or anything cheaper than, say, $10k milling machine that could work with steel reliably. So either this is a game changer or a hoax.
Most of all the frame looks so gentle, and if it's made by screwing pieces together and not big one piece ironcast, it rises my doubts.
But anyway I would buy it if I didn't have any CNC.
