[sdiy] Uses for Chinese Tube Preamps?

I'm assuming that these are 'audiophile' preamps.

One thing to keep in mind is that audio preamps are designed to sound 
good and guitar preamps are not. Most of the distortion in a guitar 
preamp is because of their lousy design and poor quality parts. So if 
you are looking for guitar type sounds then you're going to have to 
modify these preamps.
