Some friends in Brighton had (actually they are still going, though slower - Innerfield) a sound system 90's and Nev, the tech guy came up with a 'DJ trainer' that was a variation on a limiter, except when you reached the limit the volume would start to go down - much to the consternation of the 'having it' DJ!
