[sdiy] Cambridge weekend

That’s one of my builds.

It is a Black Corporation ISE-NIN, which is effectively a clone of a Jupiter 8. It’s an 8 voice analogue poly synth but with digital controls, so patch storage and loading is simple.

I bought this as a kit a couple of years ago. Not cheap, but currently one of my favourite synths. Also not a bad build compared to my Deckards Dream.

I’ve had a couple of folks with Jupiter-8’s play with it and it is quite close with a few small differences, but you would expect some anyway comparing new gear to a 40 year old synth.

Should be on display again at Synthfest this coming Saturday.

Regards

Mike Gorman
