Hi Everyone,
I have one of these beasts - I believe it was manufactured at a time when
Hammond was in the process of going out of business and yet to be taken up
by Suzuki!
Anyway, this has 12 oscillators, whose frequency is adjusted by variable
chokes (inductors). Unfortunately, Mr Shaved Ape has a go at tuning these
oscillators and has broken the cores on some of them. Some also have "broken
oscillators. These oscillators are made by Sanyo, however I can't find any
info on them.
So, I have designed a new oscillator board that is in the final stages,
based on 3 x LM148 ICs (quad 741s). All they need to do is generate a square
wave at the highest frequency, which is then divided for the various
descending octaves.
As I am about to get some PCBs made, I was wondering if there is interest
out there on making a larger batch. I will get minimum quantities, if not. I
have not priced these up yet. I am based in Australia.
Anyone?
Kind Regards
Tony Mowbray
