after listening to an interview with the engineer of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" record where he explained how he used the hardware as a "send" for the mixdown process.

Today I had a mix where I thought it might be interesting to try it out... it seems thanks to something called Black Friday the plugin has been discounted heavily, so I bought it and installed it on a parallel bus to the main mix.
I found if I put the entire drum mix through it, it was way too harsh and grating on the top end (even to my tired old ears) but it was quite nice just on the kick and snare and hats, in a low level send.
There's essentially just one knob for the process, and that's just a mix knob, so as a send effect there's really no controls other than IN and OUT levels, so it ain't rocket science.
