[sdiy] OB8 power transformer

Has anyone on the list ever had a transformer failure on an OB8 or OBXa?
I've been contacted by an owner who claims the transformer on his OB8 is
bad, but in several dozen repairs on 8s and Xas, I've never seen this
happen.

It's a (probably custom) multi output transformer;  replacements probably
not available.
